Can our light bodies swim through light, even while we operate in the dense plane?
You can make the association with which you swim in the water medium.  This is an effective way for you to extrapolate understanding into the light realm.  Just as you can be immersed in water and adjusted and accustomed to the feel of the sensation in your organism, you are immersed in light and have become accustomed and are not aware on an ongoing basis.  If you are stationary in water and subsequently begin to swim, then you can feel the water and you are aware of the feel of the water, and it becomes necessary to perceive the water as a medium, in order to navigate through the water in your swimming.  As we say, you are extrapolating in this way and reaching for experiential intersection in higher dimensions, allowing yourself to be propelled into the realm of light, and to shift your awareness into the light realm.  This swimming has an analogous effect that the water swimming has, in regard to heightening your awareness.  You sharply realize that the experiences of the analogous effects in the light realm are quite different, such as for instance rather than move arms and kick feet as you do to swim in water, you only must align your thought forms with the intention of swimming in light and allow yourself to be prepared.  There are many others, which you will discover for yourself.  The feel of the water sensation going over the body is in the light realm as a conscious expansion into multitudes of dimensions simultaneously.
Would swimming in the light realm, in this way, help to alleviate the apparent effects of discomfort in the physical plane?
You have already found this.  The mental shift in this way has profound effects in your physical reality.  The denseness is illusive.  Because of its heaviness, it is given more weight (haha), but the light realm is the vast, multidimensional gateway that is a deeper connection to your realization of the encompassment of your existence.  It is in the mental plane that you interface with the realm of light.  Most of you are tentative in this endeavor because you feel that you will get lost and never return to the world that you believe is essential for your existence.  This belief arises out of the attachment to the organic life form, and the transient nature of that life form causes continuous attention to the propagation of its existence.  As we have guided you, the connection with your heart center will allow you to expand into the mental vastness whilst maintaining the propagation of the organic life existence in the dense plane.  You can focus both in the mental realm and the heart center concommitantly.  People who appear to be what you call insane are ones who enter the mental vastness without maintaining a connection with the heart center.
So, we can, in the midst of activity, maintain a pinpointed focus in the heart center, and allow ourselves to enter into the realm of light, and then just let the events of the physical plane take their course, and see how it all plays out?
Yes, this is the general idea from your physical dense vantage point.
What is the best guidance for effecting healing in areas where there is a stark contrast with the desired effect and the current conditions?
Aligned with the other elements of this discussion, you may immerse yourself in the light realm, as we have guided, and project the energetic stream, in a form that would appear to you similar to your fire on the earth plane, merged with the intention for the healing effect.  This to be done with feeling attachments that are guided from the light realm, rather than the reactionary methods usual in the dense environment.
What is the best way to approach the feelings that lead to the direction of attention toward healing in this way?
When there is something that you perceive as pain or discomfort, it is because you are viewing from a filtered angle.  The feelings of that sort are constrained to the surface of the physical dimension, and it is common in your world to see this as the only reality.  When you effect healing as we are describing, you are best served by expanding your awareness to the ultimate dimensions.  In this method of swimming in light, you are doing that, but you must remember to remain in expansion, instead of going back to restricting yourself to the surface of the dense dimension.  Doing this brings the feelings of pain and discomfort to the forefront, which only serves to propagate the condition you are seeking to heal.  Have the will to keep your focus in the dimension of light.
It would seem then that it would be an advisable practice to dwell in the realm of light regularly, rather than to become absorbed into the surface events of the physical plane.
It is a matter of seeing.  All of the ideas we keep talking to you about, with regard to dealing with things in the physical dimension, arise out of being aware and seeing the depths of the multidimensional.  These come natural when you learn to see this way, and you won’t need to keep going back and forth so much.  In going through these processes, you are learning to see, and as time goes on, these ideas will come naturally to you on your own.  Expand inwardly on a regular basis, and the entire Universe becomes visible to you!
